Day 157: Butterflies are free to flutter by

Today I learned that a group of butterflies is called a flutter. That might sound like a piddling sort of new thing to learn, but it actually kind of made my day. I love random linguistic facts like that. I think etymology and evolution of language is fascinating. How about the rest of you? Any other word nerds here?
